A Practical Guide to Youth Work
This 'Handbook' consists of a sturdy A4 ring binder, colour coded section dividers and a CD-ROM. Youth Cymru will provide all affiliated organisation with this resource free of charge. If you wish to find out how to affiliate to Youth Cymru please click here. If you want an idea of how the handbook is presented you can look at an example of the first three pages in English or Welsh. We aim to update the documents within the 'Handbook' when it becomes necessary to do so, these updates can be found here. This 'Handbook' was created with the financial support of the Community Fund
in Wales (Now part of the Big Lottery Fund in Wales). It is designed to provide advice, support and guidance to
youth workers on a wide range of subjects including policy, practice
and curriculum issues. It is intended to be a dynamic reference document
to be added to and amended as practice and procedures move ever forward.
The document will be organic and evolve with time.
